Welcome to part seven of this series. In this segment I will discuss various pricing strategies for your chocolate business. In part six of this series I discussed how to determine your production cost to make each chocolate, here we will use that information to make intelligent decisions about selling price.
Other Costs
One thing many crafters turned pro seem to forget is that there are other
costs involved with selling your products than materials and labor to make
them. Since this series is aimed at part time businesses, I'll omit the obvious
stuff like storefront rent, business phone, etc... But even part time at home
you may have other costs such as printing (cards, invoices, brochures, etc...),
fuel (gas, electricity, oil, propane, etc...), and other labor involved such
as phone calls, delivery, selling time, and so forth.
