Advanced Candle Making Class

Date: Monday January 18, 2010

Time: 9:30 AM (runs about 5 - 7 hours) Please Note: Our classes are on a tight schedule and will start promptly, so allow sufficient travel time. We do not suggest making other plans for the afternoon after the class since classes often do not finish on schedule.

Description: In order to cover the largest amount of material, no time will be spent on the basics. This class is designed to teach the maximum amount of techniques in the time allotted. Please note: this is an informal, hands on, workshop type of class designed to be fun as well as informative.

Class size is kept small so book early to reserve your spot.

Please Note: These classes teach how to make paraffin candles - we do not use or teach with soy wax.

Prerequisites: Previous basic candle making experience or the intermediate class is needed.

Required: Closed shoes (no sandals - no exceptions). Lightweight long sleeve clothing is suggested in case of wax splashes. Wearing old clothes or work clothes is recommended. Minimum age 14 years if accompanied by parent or guardian, otherwise 18 years.

IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE - Due to the expense of offering classes, this class will be cancelled if we do not have a minimum of 4 students booked by January 3, 2010

Sign Up: A $100 deposit is required to reserve space in this class. A full refund of deposit will be given if you cancel by noon 1/2/10. Cancellations after that are not refundable unless we can fill your space. Deposit may be paid by Cash, Money Order, Visa, MC, AMEX, or Discover. Balance is due before class begins on day of the class.
